Has anyone noticed that the English who descended on Italy, and in particular, Florence during the second half of the 19th Century have decamped for France, and in particular anything within driving distance of the Chunnel?
Provence is, granted, in the south of France, and so far distant from the plebs who motor over. Provence is reserved for the English who can afford the extra day's travel. So, like the ugly American, it's safe to assume that they have polluted everything within driving distance. The subject of this movie has on it's own pretty much run out of gas. Pretty much flogged to death in everything from the Brit stage to Ab-Fab episodes. Interesting how they only see something of interest that involves them being somewhere else. Now we know what happened to the British Empire, the contrast killed 'em.
