The Infinite Crisis of Comics

Year to year, comic sales are up in the graphic novel format. In the future, I feel that most comics will not be published monthly. Instead we will see complete stories printed as original stories in graphic novels. It is cheaper for the consumer and good for the retailer because of the longer shelf life. This might cause the death of "mom and pop" comic shops unless they adapt.
