Though I am a pro ZIonist Sephardic Jew I have no trouble weighting the supposed evidence and arguments that Toaff marshalls to reach his discomfiting conclusions. So what if genocidal antisemites in Europe and in the Muslim world use a book they will not read to raise their traducements's volume? Italian Jewery should not amplify the controversy, as they are doing, nor allow the alleged crimes of a soi-disant hypothetical Jewish sect of medieval Moloch worshippers to enfeeble Rabbi Toaff and his followers.
