Council Member-Elect Attempts To Answer Residency Questions

Submitted by yaakov doe, Feb 27, 2007 10:54

When asked by Brian Lehrer on Monday February 19th about his residence, Dr. Eugene said that his children were born in the district and that he moved out after he recently bought a house. At no time did he say that he had rented an apartment in the district. Although he is uncertain of the date of move, it was obvious by his answer that he did not have the apartment on February 19, the day before the election. According to real estate records, his "recent" purchase of the house was in 1999.
