I like Rudy. I respect Rudy. I wasn't so sure about him having the GOP nomination. As a long time Republican in Iowa I am looking for a winning candidate that is strong on national security issues and leadership. I don't care about the social issues enough to vote for or against someone on a particular social issue. National security is THE issue with me....all else does not matter if our country is destroyed externally or internally by the very real threat of terrorism and Islamic fundamentalism. It won't matter whether I agree or disagree on a particular social issue if we all die...because that is what are enemies want they want to destroy our way of life, me, you, our families, our religion, our government, our economy and everything about our culture and civilization. Is this a gross overstatement? No, I don't believe so and eventually the majority of Americans will wake up and see the danger and until then I am warming up to Rudy being acceptable for the GOP nomination. Heck, I may just support him.
