Romney, Giuliani Top Conservative Straw Poll

Submitted by Rubberduck Crusader, Mar 5, 2007 02:32

Does it seem that there's a strange disconnect between the South Carolina straw polls and the CPAC straw polls? Just who exactly are these CPAC voters? Are they just your traditional Republican Party hacks commandeering the title of Conservative? If so, how in the world would Rudy Giuliani, with his definite liberal social leanings, beat out a Duncan Hunter or a Mitt Romney? No, this is no Conservative group; the South Carolinians are a Conservative Group! Just when are these party hacks going to get the message, and quit shoving these so-called "front-runners" down our throats?

Look folks, some of us have a real problem with the fact that within 24 hrs of the time he announced, Mayor Giuliani had a 2 to 1 lead over the second place person in the polls, even with his liberal leanings. There's something really fishy here.

The Party had better get the message: we're tired of the Spectors, Chaffees, Snowes, Collinses and McCains in this party, and we will demand changes, or force them!
