educate the public on the history of social security and it 's original intent. People are under the misconception that if we do away with soc. sec. we are taking somrthing away from them. Realistically it has been gone for sometime. Taken by the same people that devalued our dollar,spent money that was earmarked for soc. sec. and a constantly penalizes anyone that tries to solve the problem. Isn't there an education problem here. Inform the public and encourage, like this , them to insist on results. My father in 1981 suggested to anyone that would listen. A free market approach to solving the problem. What president Bush proposed , but to an educated public.
