No study I've ever seen counts figures as high as this study, so I must assume that Mark Mahlum is correct; this study doesn't count actual (VOLUNTARY) giving, but rather the amounts taken involuntarily out of taxpayers' wallets. Nice try, but taxation doesn't count as charity.
