Come to Cooper Union

The majority of people Democrats drag out for their pity campaign are in their position because they choose to be. Some choose not to work, choose to live in squalor, choose to be uneducated. You can lead a horse to water, yadayadayada. Forcing taxpayers to pay for benefits, insurance or otherwise, for people who will most likely never use them, or will abuse them is asinine. It's simply another means for government's legal theft of its citizens. People with no resources with which to pay for medical care are classed as indigent and their costs are covered by the people who actually pay their bill. The ideal situation for Democrats would be for government to take 100% of our wages and dole out the minimum it wants us to live on.

Incidently, I, too was more impressed with Gingrich than with Cuomo. Cuomo had too many "I interrupt my comments for a brief message from my sponsor" moments. I'm not interested in a bunch of Republican/Democrat catfights, I'm sick of it. I want a return to a time when elected officials were considered statesmen and true public servants rather than politicians. I want our current federal government cut at least in half and for public officials to actually serve the public, not themselves. I want people to stop whining about the history of their ancestors and make something of themselves. I want the federal government to get out of the school business and return the education of our children state and local hands. I want our military to be able to deal quickly and decisively with any attack on our homeland or citizens. I want the federal government to stop punishing me for working by taking half my money in taxes. I want whatever taxes need to be raised to be collected by a sales tax whereby I am taxed based on my consumption, not my productivity. I want to return to the basic Constitutional principles on which America was founded.
