New Magazine Celebrates ‘the Harvard Brand'

Submitted by Mary Ellen O'Brien, Nov 13, 2006 16:36

I read the magazine in my doctor's office and really felt it was highly pretentious and is part of a continuing string of represen tations of our sad culture that continues to decline. Now we have "the elite group of graduates" reinforcing that our cultural demise is quite democratic and broad in its participants.

I told my doctor it is offensive to have in his waiting room. Physically sick people need not take in more depressing, superficial and sad commentaries on today's life. My 16 year old son even commented on how Gates reached your number one alumnus and never graduated but his money and power had to be affliliated to little time he spent there studying and living.
