The Bush Factor In the Victory By Democrats

Submitted by Joe Dees, Nov 14, 2006 03:19

Although I am so pro-choice that I not only served for years as a NOW clinic escort at clinics in Pensacola, Florida, (where two abortion doctors and a clinic escort were gunned down by fanatical anti-choicers during the time I was an escort), but also spent Mother's Day and Christmas nights in abortion clinics in my city (where clinics have been firebombed a half-dozen times - typically during those symbolic - for them - nights), so they would have to take life - mine - in order to do it again, the rest of this person's analysis I found provocative and interesting. I am a pro-Iraqi-liberation liberal, who understands that the root wod of liberal is liberty, and cannot stomach the contradiction of Democrats forsaking liberation abroad while championing t at home any more than I can swallow the contradiction of Republicans shacking our personal freedoms at home while they labor to spread freedom abroad. That's why I am for Giuliani in '08; he understands the threat, what we will ave to be willing to ear in order to successfully cnfront it, and is for the expansion of personal freedom, both foreign and domestic.

PS: I also had access (thanks to a spy) to Sheidler's Pro-Life Action Newsline, and discovered there that Joan Andrews (Saint Joan, the anti-choicers called her) missed arraignment on charges of clinic destruction in Pensacola because she was arrested and jailed near St. Louis (or was it Kansas City? So long ago, I forget) for doing the same thing. I told the local paper and the local TV station (the paper owned by the Catholic-influenced Gannett, the TV station owned by the Southern-Baptist-influenced Heritage media) about her arrest, and told each news outlet that I had told the other one, giving them the Hotline number for corroboration. They both had to come out with the story rather than bury it, then, for fear, not only of being scooped, but for being correctly perceived as having buried it for religious reasons. This revelation prompted a pre-trial investigation that uncovered the fact that she had done the same thing to120 other clinics in he previous two years, resulting in her receiving a five year sentence, rather than a fine or a few days in jail.

After one local "pro-life activist" (Paul Hill) was sentenced to death and executed for multiple murder (an abortion doctor and an escort, and wounding the escort's wife with a shotgun), a second (Michael Griffin) sentenced to life in prison for murder |(an abortion doctor, with a handgun), and a third (John Burt) sent up for a long stretch in ther state pen for sexually abusing the pregnant girls off whose social security checks he profited when he received their checks in exchange for admitting them to his institution, Our Father's Home (his real reason for keeping them out of the clinics), things quieted down here.
