I have often contemplated and even attempted suicide. Of course I have been open to help from doctors. Doctors have a conceptual way of explaining why you should not end your life. That's fine for some I suppose. My depression has been an artificial blinder that has kept me from experiencing pain. I lost attachment to feelings long ago. There must be some other dose of experiencing the outcome of suicide with out committing the act. I have not seen Eric Steel's movie "The Bridge" but I can understand why this movie may be of value to others like me. I can understand the imagery from an iconic view such as a bridge. I have contemplated crossing bridges with my eyes closed (suicidal thoughts). Sometimes you don't want to know the consequences in fear of really feeling "something". I would love to get to the place where I "feel" suicide is wrong and know that it affects the "feelings" of loved ones. I have been crossing bridges, crossing bridges with my eyes closed "I am told". What might the possibilities be of my eyes being opened visually (theatre) ? It sure beats the conceptual explanation that I "don't experience" from doctors or friends or loved ones.
