A $1.5 Billion Vision For Coney Island

Submitted by Joni Moskol, Nov 14, 2006 21:45

My memories of childhood have been revived upon reading this story.

The half-moon hotel was our next store neighbor. Summers were incredible, because all the amusement

that kids fantasize about were a reality for me.

Nathans hot dogs were the prime rib of dogs.

It seems that some people want to create more of a commercial atmosphere, maybe more modern,

and in some respects memories shoild be left to well memories, but I can't see why a little nostalgia

will not be a good blend.

I still envision the Coney Island of the past, fireworks, the boardwalk, and penny arcades, etc.

Maybe we can have a little bit me and a little bit you.
