Yale Student's Resume Video Raises Wall Street Eyebrows

Submitted by Peggy Fleming, Mar 9, 2007 22:45

We had finished programming our video resume software CVOne (http://www.gocvone.com) in Fall 06 and were not sure whether video resumes would ever really take off in the U.S. Thanks to Aleksey it did - about the same time we wanted to launch. Yes, his resume is over the top but he might have changed the way people apply for jobs in the near future. Also, HR departments must find ways to deal with the video resumes in a responsible way. It should be treated like a printed resume. It's just so much easier to just copy paste and send the link to a friend to have some good laugh together later in the pub.
