You would have allowed a lie. Pat Fitzgerald said that perjury threatens our system of rule of law. To your thinking a lie to the Grand Jury no less, implies that they are above the law. Our system relies in the truth for it to work and not according in the highest office in the land. No man is above the law. Remember the Constitution says all men are created equal or so that last time I checked. Would you want to have rule by whim as is the case in the Saudi nation? That where we are headed with this pardon that you want for Libby, and btw. he will not be eligible for a pardon until the next administration. And he doesn't deserve one.
