Major Cable Providers Refuse To Carry English-Language Al-Jazeera

Submitted by Asudo Nimh, Nov 15, 2006 10:43

As an American, I am dismayed at the lack of diverse points-of-view we receive through our broadcast and cable/satellite news outlets. Considering all the available communications technology, we are seriously shortchanged by mainstream media, whose every word and image are filtered throught the political-correctness and Judeo-Christian propaganda machines.

Perhaps our leaders are afraid for us to see the reality of our diminishing status among our fellow earthlings, and the reasons behind it, such as the death and destruction we've inflicted on countless thousands of innocent people - just ordinary people like you and me - and the $400,000,000,000 of our tax dollars we're spending to do it.

So long as Fox News remains a leading source of news in this country, we will maintain our status as the world's most ignorant civilized country.

I urge every American to contact his cable/satellite provider and demand they carry the new al Jazeera International/English.

Knowledge is power. Power is safety.
