If there is any solace or hope for the American public, the forced removal of Attorney General Gonzales will be a great start BECAUSE of his performance as AG...this is the SAME person who declared that "not every American may have the implicit right of Habeas Corpus. Such a person does not need to be in any office in the Justice Department, from the highest seat which he holds, to the lowliest federal court room JANITOR. He is not fit for his position, never has been, and has proved this time and time again.
So...they were right to oppose his confirmation, and they are still right (even more so really) to ask that this cancer on the American legal system be removed sooner rather than later.
