When the Nazis began attacking their neighbors we made excuses,(see newspaper articles of the time) when the Soviet Union began forceably annexing eastern europe and sending us into a half century of cold war our newspapers and many of our leaders made excuses for their behavior. Now we are facing a much more intractable threat in radical Islam, yet our response is to call them a small minority of the when it is clear that the threat is huge and their support is and has always has been general among the Muslems both in their homelands and around the world. This is not a criminal problem, it is war, a war we must not lose!
