Sharpton Faults Obama Support For Lieberman

Submitted by Anonymous, Mar 13, 2007 12:37

Mr. Sharpton is right. Obama did support Lieberman and that says a lot about Obama's lack of judgment. Lieberman has been beating the war drums from the get-go with President Bush, so one would wonder why Obama, who touts his own horn about how he didn't support the war in Iraq, would support a man who does.

Voters had better pay attention to the candidates with regard to their stance on the issues, not just how well they can give a speech. The mainstream media has cited that polls show that a majority of voters are more interested in the charisma of a candidate over their concerns about where their chosen candidate is on the issues. If Americans continue down this slippery slope we are going to destroy our country. Two terms under George W. Bush should tell us all how dangerous this is.

Mr. Sharpton knows that people are swept up in Obama's charisma, and they better look closer at what this man is saying concerning all of the issues. He doesn't have much of a record, because he's new to the Senate. How convenient for Obama.... maybe not so good for America.

It's time for Americans to wake up and study these people running for the highest office in our land. America is in crisis. Who will be the best candidate to solve our problems once President Bush leaves office? Lieberman has lost his integrity. Lieberman has hurt the Democratic Party, and our country. Why would Obama support him?

Thanks Al, for giving me pause to wonder about this.
