I believe that AIPAC was behind the Iraq war and they are currently behind a push to go to war with Iran.

It may be true that AIPAC is not pushing the case that we stay in Iraq, but I think it is more likely that they are now laying low, because more and more of mainstream America is realizing their culpability in starting the war. I have noticed fewer articles from AIPAC writers such as Charles Krauthammer supporting the "surge" and calling for a continued presence in Iraq until the war is won.

When I see Nancy Pelosi or other prominent Democrats standing before the AIPAC sign, declaring undying support for Israel, it makes me want to gag. It reenergizes me to inform as many people as I can of Israel's role in starting the Iraq war.

My choice for the next president will rely soley on that persons stand on continued unconditional support for Israel. The less support, the stronger the appeal to me, Democrat or Republican.
