You miss the point totally. Sure the president can fire any of the attorney she wants. In your editorial you quote the section of the code that says that those who replace the fired attorneys need the advice and consent of the Senate. The attempt by the Attorney General to get around the advice and consent bit using a technical loophole in the terrorism laws is what is reprehensible.
