The President's Prosecutors

What is it about this administration's apologists that seem to miss the simple fact that all 8 fired/forced US Attorneys were NOT Clinton holdovers - but were Bush II appointees?

When your President took office - he did what every other President has done in recent history - cleared out the USAs and installed his own.

The issue here is whether the DOJ should act as a partisan goon squad - I would hope Republican ethics haven't dragged us so far down into the muck that we can no longer recognize the difference between serving at the pleasure of the President and for the pleasure of the President and his party.
