It seems that accessibility to subway sytems in New York and Boston have the same problem, poorly maintained escalators and elevators, stations without elevators and lousy overall service. So what steps are taken by our elected officials, pour more money into the system for all their hack friends. They do not monitor the maintenance with professionals but assign someone and call them "inspectors", they continuously throw good money after bad and do not address the problems. Things will continue until there is an accident and which results in a huge lawsuit, then maybe, just maybe something will be done.
