I've never understood this stuff about "ending the idea of a Jewish state." If the Palestinians had roled over and accepted the 1948 partition, 42% of Israel would have been Palestinian. Some Jewish homeland that would have been. In other words the idea of a Jewish state would have been dead on arrival. that is the real issue isn't it?
