A Fourth Mayor Quits Bloomberg Anti-Gun Group

Submitted by Carl, Mar 16, 2007 19:14

Most people don't appreciate cliches because they are true. Guns don't kill people, people do. When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns. There are more. And why do the anti-gunners distort the stats when it comes to gun related crimes or injuries? Why not simply quote FBI studies like the NRA does- you'll see that gun crimes are the lowest ever. Why does the ACLU defend criminals who commit such outrageous violations against fellow man, want to take away firearms ownership from honest law-abiding folk? Has the ACLU ever defended a gun owner on a firearms issue? More than half the states in these great United States have adopted Right-To-Carry laws. Without exception each of these Right-To-Carry states, while its population has increased, has experienced a decrease in crime. Like the motorcyclist motto states regarding the use of helmets- let those who ride decide. If you can legally own a firearm, and you want one, then go get one. If you don't want one then don't own one. But don't go telling me that I cannot own one. Hey man, it's a free country !
