My name is Stephanie Callicott and I just read the article entitled, "A New Way to Put on A Play" and I agree wholeheartedly. There are alot of talented playwriters including myself who are left with nothing but frustration because no one is willing to take a chance on us. Everyone has had to start from scratch at some point in their career. I am currently trying to produce my own play now and its frustrating because I keep running into brick walls. I reside in Indiana and I am willing to go to Chicago to put on a play, no problem! Where does the help begin? Where do I even start in this? Is there help for starving artist? Someone please respond because I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!!
