I was not surprised to see the New York Times print this one sided diatribe against Israel. That the Times gives aid and comfort to the Palestinians at the expense of the Israelis is annoying at least and in some sense, (in a city that lost 3000 plus people to the same Islamic suicide terrorism that plagues the Israelis), it is self destructive.
Kristof couldn't resist comparing the Israelis to the Nazis in this article. Why doesnt he talk about the Grand Mufti Haj Amin al Husseini, who worked with Himmler to create the final solution. Why doesn't he talk about how the war of Independence in 48, which the Arabs lost, was fomented by al Husseini to finish the job Hitler could't. Why doesnt he mention that Arafat was a cousin to the Nazi Grand Mufti ? Yes the same lovable Arafat whose Fatah brought us the original Islamic suicide tactic.
It is typical of Palestinian sympathizers like Kristof to ignore the Palestinian atrocities which have kept Israel in a state of War. But talking to the new Government, whose stated aim is the destruction of Israel, is insanity.
