A heartfelt article ! You express what so many of us parents feel about our children in the military -- living in Colorado Springs, there is overwhelming support of our military and thanks are given (and shown), whenever possible. Visiting in NYC over PPW was an eye-opening experience of how much Americans (New Yorkers?) are anti-military -- sad, but true.
