I don't know that answer but I do know that doing more of the same will not get us anywhere. I just bought a wonderful home near the park in the South Ward and there is no way that I will send my kids to school to fail along side the kids in my area. I see nothing but negativity, the breakdown of family structure, post 90's crack culture, and filth (there are no trash cans so that trash get thrown on the street).

Cory, do what you must but we expect to see changes. By the way, give teacher the power to send these kids home so that the ones that want to learn can. The goal is not to save every child, it is to save the ones that can make a difference. Let's not be foolish. Most of these kids are in trouble just by merit of their surroundings.
