A photograph is a photograph, not a movie, you don't get to have it both ways. A good photograph is not about capturing motion, it is about capturing emotion. Some people like that a photograph captures a moment in time. I never once, looked at any of the images referred to and thought, "gee, I wish they were moving.". Like taking a bite out of an apple and expecting it to taste like an orange. As long as there are books, posters, show bills or magazines there will be a need for photographs. Try printing the slow motion movie in a magazine...
