Thank you for this very good article. I totally agree with you about all the "hype" in classical music...who needs that? I also really liked your comment about how Renee Fleming is unserpassed at Strauss and Korngold. That is absolutely true! She is AMAZING!!! Brava, Ms. Fleming!
