Your comment elicited a strong chuckle and smile when I read it. Thank you for that sobering account - haha. Very true.

I think the writer of this article does have a certain point, however, the entire Iraq affair seems to debunk it... if we took it upon ourselves to shoulder the responsibility of a "free and stable" Iraq and Middle East, why shouldn't we be blamed when things go horribly wrong?
