In case anyone's interested, and maybe David is, the comment Aaron Shikler made to me on the occasion of my leaving the Painting Group "in a rage" was, upon viewing the painting I was then working on, "WE DON'T DO THAT KIND OF CHEAP ILLUSTRATION HERE." (Being hard of hearing, Mr. Shikler tends to shout.)
