Why Baseball Is Singled Out on Drugs

well written, well said and dead right - well, except the for last paragraph. after all your great arguments about the racial factors, I am very disappointed that you then talk about people viewing baseball "as more than a gladiatorial spectacle." It has nothing to do with that - it has to do with the fact that the middle aged white guys want the nice squeaky clean white boys who play baseball, the sport they all coulda played if only they had just gone out and thrown the baseball instead of listening to mommy and daddy and going out and becoming a lawyer, yeah THEIR sport, getting all niggafied with drugs like Those People use in the Other Sports.

The "outrage" over steroids is just a thinly veiled racist view that white people gotta do what's gotta be done to keep our nice White boys from turning into one of Themmmm.
