Why Baseball Is Singled Out on Drugs

Well written article. The only way steroid user in sports will be disciplined and expelled is if the fans refuse to go to the park/arena/course/court etc, unless the games are cleaned up. When MLB went out on strike and the union/owners nearly ruined the game, the players came back and the balls started flying out of the yard. Brady Anderson hit 51 home runs!!!!! The turnstiles whizzed, the games were slugfests and America was happy... I don't agree with the racial argument though, because football and basketball by their nature require a higher level of physicality than baseball, hence strength (in the classic sense of the word), are a greater advantage in these sports endeavors...regardless of the racial makeup of the participants
