Hagel Warns of Impeachment of President

Submitted by mehdi oummih, Mar 27, 2007 00:36

The invasion and occupation of Iraq was a crime.  It was a violation of international Law.  This is a simple fact.  Under international Jurisprudence, when one state violates the territorial integrity of another state for any reason beyond self defence, it constitutes a crime.  Unfortunately, this is not the only crime that has been committed.  The outing of Valerie Plame, a CIA agent was a clear example of how low this administration would go to seek out political vengence.  As if that were not bad enough, let us not forget that the circumstances behind the 911 are far from clear.  While I personally believe that PNAC, Chenney and Guilianni were directly involved, i have not yet amassed enough evidence to prove that Bush himself had prior knowledge of these attacks.  Despite this, he has obstructed the investigation by stonewalling calls for an impartial investigation.

The real question is who is going to impeach him?   Congress is supposed to be the instrument that commences the impeachment proceedings.  Unfortunately, Congress is bought and paid for by the very same culprits who organized the current set of events which will eventually see us violating International law yet again by invading another soveriegn nation, Iran.  Much of this is a fait accompli.  I do not have any faith in Congress's ability to act in the interests of the American people.  I lost my faith in the fourth estate in the lead up to the illegal invasion of Iraq.  The only people that i still have faith in are my fellow Americans.

I believe that if Americans become aware of what is going on, they will force action.  They will use all legal means at their disposal to reverse this decline that has gripped our country.  I already see a faint glimmer of hope in the soon to be released Loose Change movie.  Americans will see this movie and will more and more begin to turn to the internet and alternative sources of news for their information.

If Americans no longer depend upon the mass media for their news and information, they will begin to open their eyes to what has really occured.  When that occurs, there will surely be a very serious reckoning. Apartheid Israel will no longer continue to recieve Billions in welfare from American tax coffers; and the traitors within will get their just deserts.
