Snow Falling In Spring

Thank you for writing about Tony Snow. It does show the depth of your feelings toward the man and his life. We, my wife and I, can identify with Mr. Snow and Mrs. Edwards. In the Spring of 2004, my wife was diagnosed with Lung cancer and had surgery - so far the cancer has not returned, but each day is well, each day of hope. Six months after her diagnosis, I learned that I had Prostate Cancer and it was presumed to be isolated in the one side of the Prostate. Forty two external beam radiation treatments later, the PSA continued to rise. Bone and MRI scans revealed that it had spread to my spine and that is where it still is. I am one hormone replacement treatment, but this is not chemo and it will not cure the lesion (so I am told).

Our prayers are with Tony and Mrs. Edwards, and we include them in our Novena each night. And if the Lord has a little left over, we ask for ourselves.

George Jacobs
