Hagel Warns of Impeachment of President
in response to reader comment: Hagel and his experience

Submitted by Gordon Crump, Mar 28, 2007 11:43

I doubt anyone could run for President without finding a few people supporting them.

j. emerson may support whom he or she wishes, but Chuck Hagel as a Presidential candidate surely must bring up the rear.

He is a wild-eyed leftist, whose mean-spirited outbursts fail civilized discourse and his failure to support even his own political party are reasons enough to write him off.

It takes a lot of gall to do as much damage to the GOP as Chuck Hagel has done, then ask for its blessings.

Trying to cloak the damage in the silver threads of "protecting" the principles of our founding documents is absurd.

Hagel should first learn the principles of the Republican Party, pass some worthwhile legislation that his constituents sent him to do, study the Constitution, take a course in good manners and then build a record of support for those chosen by his party. After that, he might apply for some positiion in line with his meager qualifications.
