Some Lawmakers Call for Return to Old School Boards

Who is Charles Barron kidding? Going back to the old school boards would be disastrous. I like Charles but he's barking up the wrong tree. The NYC DOE has taken some great strides and the new reforms want to keep the momentum going. I'm not saying things are going to be easy, but you don't improve by setting mediocre goals. You improve by setting high goals and trying your hardest to reach them which is exactly what Klein and Bloomberg are doing.

Even this articles states it clearly, "Bloomberg dismantled the boards, many of which were plagued by corruption, patronage, and mismanagement". So why would we want to go back and open up the system to that corruption again? I don't mind someone being anti-establishmenbt but not when they criticize an establishment for their own political gain. RJ and Charles here's some advice: Take a break and don't try so hard. Get quotes in the paper on worthwhile issues.
