Israelis Go ‘Over Condi's Head' On New Mideast Peace Proposals

Submitted by Scott Baker, Mar 29, 2007 11:13

I too, would like to turn the clock back. Not to 1967, but to 1979, when Israel had control of the Sinai. Giving up that pinninsula may yet turn out to be Israel's historic undoing. But certainly, returning to the 1967 borders would be. This would leave Israel defenseless and quickly lead to its annihilation. Letting the so-called refugess return would only accelerate Israel's destruction. The arbs must be feeling pretty powerful right now if they are suggesting this as a peace initiative. As for the refugees from 1948 - gimme a break. How morally bankrupt does a country have to be not to be able to find homes for these people in 59 years? Hmmm, perhaps Jorden et al do not actually want the Palestinians to resettle in their countries? Perhaps they know something about these people we don't? Or perhaps the encamped Palestinians are being used as a poitical pawn by the arab nations. Politics! In the Middle East! Impossible!
