Having heard both Elman and Milstein -no big deal there either, at playing the Mendelssohn concerto.
The recommendation to play Beethoven or Sibelius works , is stupid commentary ,and pretense at
understanding violin music .Mr. Kirshnit has every right to his opinion of Repin but what are the many
adjectives,pray tell ?????
