Spitzer Seeks Compromise On Rape Cases

okay my comment is this i personally think that we should do away with the statutue of limitations on rape cases. i mean honestly just because a person did not report a rape and let a rapist go free does not mean that we can just ignore the fact that someone was raped and the rapist is out enjoying life and living in our society as a normal human being as if they did nothing wrong.i can only speak from what i know and trust me i know more about this subject than you think, but moving on to my point the main reason why alot of rapes go unreported because the victim feels ashamed and hurt and they feel like the whole incident is their fault and then by the time that they feel comfortable enough to speak out, the time for a court to have some jurisdiction over their case has expired. i mean just because the person who raped us is free, out and about does not mean the memories of the attack are gone.
