Let's see, Ed Cox who? The NY Conservative Party had already given Mayor John Spencer two dozen County Chairs of support (Via CP Leader Jim Kelly push) while Ed Cox had NO support. Cox proved himself weak kneed when Gov. Pataki picked Pirro and left the race instead staying in the ring, fighting for the US Senate like Spencer did. Cox could not run his own race let alone McCain's Race.
