GOP leaning columnists keep talking about the democrats raising taxes (raising taxes on millionaires is popular and practically may not count).
I would be shocked if the democrats raise the taxes on anyone in the upper middle class or lower.

Frankly I suspect these commentators want to rally the troops one more time for the great cause, but
I think the democrats have learned no tax increases to balance a budget because they only fuel a GOP tax cut. They just can't say that out loud.

It is much more likely that the Democrats will spend and borrow like Bush and Reagan only on different things.

Will these same columnists denounce the evils of budget deficits then?
