Mayor's Gun Talk Begets a Warning from Rifle Group

Submitted by kevin dibble, Mar 31, 2007 22:36

Here is a man who thinks that stopping guns from out of state dealers is going to solve crime that involve the use of guns. I am amused some what at this thought process. The truth of the matter is getting a gun in NYS is just as easy as any where else. Just look in any want ad's or bulletin boards etc. These guns are being transfered between owners and there is no special requirements. Hand guns can be sold the same way "it was stolen" yea right. Jumping on anyone and i mean anyone about selling guns that may have come from another state and suing those dealers is just stupid. Not to go off on the constitutional rights tyrid, instead of trying to stop all of this petty nonsense, the citizen should have the right to arm themselves. Bloomberg it seems to me is an advocat for the criminals by making it so hard for the law abideing citizen to own a gun as well as the use of it to protect yourself. In nys you must try to escape, even in your home before you can use deadly force if the situation exists. Criminals know this. The streets are are not safe to walk down in many areas and people are afraid to live a normal life. This is flat out TERREOR! We have it right here. Arm the citizen and help the police in the war on terreor, not as a vigilante but as a citizen who has a right to protect themselves. This would certainly slow down this illegal gun issue. Two things come to mind on all of this; one, bloomberg as well as many other politicians have armed security to protect them. The people for the most part don't. Second FEAR A POLITICIAN WHO FEARS GUNS.. Remember, we as huming beings have not yet evolved past the predator and prey behavior. And until we do we must be able to stop those who prey on we the law abiding people. STEP OFF BLOOMBERG. Take a good long look at what is really going on and stop acting like a child seeking approval from those who have the special intrest group bug.
