I am not shocked...but simply horrified at the reaction of this Council. I have always felt that the United Nations was a joke. They have no real power, and allow representatives from all nations, no matter their policies on human rights, to have equal say. My personal feelings always were that Israel would get screwed....no matter the subject.

The unfortunate reality is that much of the world has barbaric qualities; condoned by the UN Council. This is unforgivable. Watch out, America, these traditions are coming to our own door-steps.....within the lifetimes of our grand-children. And we are allowing it.....We will be to blame, because we believe in equality for all. It will bite us where it hurts.........I will be long gone and am saddened by the world I leave to my children and grandchildren.
