In New Lawsuit, Activists Seek Ban On Production of Foie Gras in N.Y.
in response to reader comment: Foie Gras

Submitted by Janet Roxburgh, Nov 16, 2006 13:39

I am so glad that a new angle is being used to try and stop this cruel treatment of our fellow creatures. Yes, ducks overfed grotesquely like this ARE diseased and suffering. Good for people to remember this when they are looking over a restaurant menu, wondering what to order. To a large extent, we are what we eat.

I sincerely hope that the lawsuit seeking a ban on the production of Foie Gras in N.Y. will be won. Also that this ban will spread across the rest of the country quickly.

Thank you for giving people an opportunity to speak here.
