Good article, I'd also add that the know-nothing left has had a powerful influence in neutering a more aggressive stance against radical islam. They've been its ardent supporters against the 'zionist-neocon' agenda. Its also plain old fear and that people opt for appeasement and pacifism rather than stand up and fight evil. Those of us who have no illusions about Islam can only hope our leaders stop backing down each time we're threatened. We in the West also need a massive education campaign on the true nature of radical Islam and its intent to take over the world. This way we'd have greater unity and a better understanding of our enemy and of course get more of our population willing to fight. Sadly it appears that due to people's ignorance and complacency we are losing this war, for now.
