Assume that Mr. Dienstag is right about his facts. How is a poor person worse off by paying zero, which is what he admits the price is, to improve his odds of getting a transplant? Maybe the poor person can come up with some money or maybe not. But if you were on an unsafe airplane and someone handed you a working parachute for free, would you refuse it because you might land on some sharp rocks?
