Its wonderful to know that a Muslim chaplain will be inducted in the NYPD. InshaAllah, this will not only help the community understand the background of the Muslim police officer but will also bridge the gap that has created a chasm due to ignorance starting from the education system where so little is taught about people of other faiths and about Islam specially in Junior high and high school. Slowly but surely more and more Americans will come to understand Muslims when they are accepted to work in different work force such as fire department, police force, hospitals, law, etc etc.
